Design Projects…
Jonson Beaumont
This high-end recruitment consultancy required a subtle and discreet identity for their professional stationery. We created the jb icon and applied a delicate and understated colour wash to the quality paper stock.
“I have worked with Doodlebug from the start up of our business 4 years ago. They have a rare quality for designers; they didn’t impose their ideals they listened to our business needs. We have an excellent ongoing collaboration with them because they understand us and exactly what is right for our business. As a result I would have no hesitation in recommending them.“

Posh Nosh Consulting
Posh Nosh Consulting came to us to create their brand identity, marketing & advertising materials. They are a team of culinary consultants and chefs working with a variety of clients and they wanted a simple & stylish logo that would represent the wide spectrum of skills they have. WE have worked on a variety of projects with them and as well as their branding & marketing design we have done several photoshoots of their products for promotional and advertising purposes.
“The team at Doodlebug are great to work with. The feedback we have received with regards to our logo and marketing designs has been amazing and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Start Licensing
We have been working with Ian and the team at Start Licensing for many years, looking after the business stationery and marketing, design and print needs and the company exhibition stand graphics.
As well as being industry consultants, Start Licensing represent many different Licensees and as such we create a variety of advertisements for various industry magazines which we update and artwork on a regular basis. Each year we also update and arrange the printing for the company brochure which represents all of the Licensees in a simple, bright and colourful layout.
“Start Licensing have used Doodlebug Design over many years for a range of design projects from trade advertisements through to corporate brochures. We have always found them to be reliable, helpful and proactive. They add value to the design process and also great insight into the licensing market. They have also worked for many years with our client Britvic and have played a vital role in the management of the Britvic licensing programme curating design resources. They have successfully worked closely with a range of licensees across Britvic’s brands. I would thoroughly recommend Doodlebug Design.“

Jules & Sharpie
Jules & Sharpie approached us to create a logo for their range of hot ‘preservaments’. What better than to make the Scotch Bonnet Pepper the star of the show? After all there would be no jelly without it! The bright, fresh look was carried across flyers, exhibition stands, packaging and the web site.
“When we needed a make over for our branding we looked at a few design companies but Doodlebug had the right ideas and the right attitude. They did a brilliant job for us and pulled together every aspect of our image from display material and stationery to labels, packaging and website design. They understood our budget, delivered on time and made it all seem effortless. Perfect!“

Posmetics
Liz approached us to help design the branding and packaging for her natural range of handmade cosmetics based on the science of nature and natural ingredients. We worked together and developed mood boards as a starting point, which created the general look and feel of the brand. The packaging was produced on a natural board with a foiled logo and UV Varnish to reflect the luxury feel of the product.
Weldfix
Daryl from Weldfix had built his mobile welding company into a successful business and approached us to help give him a professional and unique image that would set him apart from the competition.
We created a super hero welder character based on Daryl who could swoop in and save the day!
The logo and character are used on his van, business stationery and website (which we built).
“I wanted an identity to make my business really stand out and Doodlebug Design came up with the idea of turning me into a superhero welder! They created a fun colourful superhero illustration and accompanying logo. They also created a fantastic website in the same style to match. Now my van has been wrapped everyone recognises me!”

Mood, Reference Boards & Branding Guidelines
We are often approached to design logos and create identities for new companies and for companies seeking a re-fresh of their corporate branding.
After an initial consultation we will take all the information gathered about the general look and feel of the new identity that our clients are seeking.
The best way to start this process is to look at various points as follows and to capture these in a Mood Board:
- Other brands that are admired and sum up the look and feel that our client is trying to achieve
- Who their client is, what are they aiming for
- Favourite colours and font styles
- Textures & special finishes
Once these boards are complete they give our clients an overall feel and design direction prior to starting the logo design process.
We are often also asked to create Corporate Branding Guidelines which are a guide of the rules of your logo and it’s usage and your corporate stationery, fonts etc.
